The Minister of Environment Protection and Agriculture, Levan Davitashvili met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Sweden to Georgia, Martina Quick. At the meeting, the Minister has been focused on projects planned by the Ministry for the development of the sector, he thanked the Ambassador for her support and underlined the importance of donor organizations, including Swedish International Development Agency (SIDA) for their engagement and assistance in the implementation of the projects.

The sides discussed future cooperation issues in the field of environmental protection, they highlighted issues related to waste management, which is the priority direction of the agency. Martina Quick stressed the importance of active communication and cooperation with the Ministry. The First Deputy Minister of Environment Protection and Agriculture, Nodar Kereselidze and Deputy Minister, Nino Tandilashvili attended the meeting.
