The Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture hosts the Delegation of the Republic of Korea

The Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture Mr. Yuri Nozadze met with the members of the Delegation of the Republic of Korea.

Mr. Nozadze spoke about the importance of 30 years of diplomatic relations between Georgia and the Republic of Korea and expressed his desire to deepen trade and economic relations between the two countries.



During the meeting, the parties discussed the possibility of increasing the export of Georgian products to Korea, specifically, wine, alcoholic beverages, and food products, noting that the demand for Georgian wine is increasing, which is a key factor contributing to the growth of exports.



According to the Deputy Minister, Georgia and Korea have enjoyed good relations and efficient cooperation in the environmental field for several years. Mr. Yuri Nozadze emphasized the importance of sharing best practices from the Korean side to promote the development of protected areas in Georgia.

The parties mentioned, that Georgia supports the Republic of Korea to host the’’ Busan World Expo 2030’’.



The Heads of relevant agencies within the system of the Ministry and representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs attended the meeting.
