During his visit to Berlin, Otar Samugia met with the Minister of Agriculture of Lithuania Kęstutis Navickas

Within the framework of the large-scale international exhibition "Green Week 2023", the Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia, Mr. Otar Shamugia held a meeting with his Lithuanian counterpart in Berlin.

During the meeting, the parties emphasized the importance of international partners’ support in Georgia's integration process into the European Union.

Mr.  Shamugia expressed gratitude to the Minister of Agriculture of Lithuania for his active cooperation, noting that the Georgian Authorities are making their best efforts to implement EU recommendations,  ensuring that Georgia can obtain the status of a candidate country as soon as possible.

The Minister of Agriculture of Lithuania openly expressed his support for Georgia on the path of European integration.

During the meeting, the counterpart Ministers discussed strengthening bilateral trade relations-related issues. As Otar Shamugia pointed out, Lithuania is a strategically important country for Georgian wine exports.

 

Considering all the mentioned issues, the National Wine Agency cooperates with the marketing company "TRIBE INTERNATIONAL", which ensures the raising of awareness of Georgian wine in Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia and the implementation of various marketing campaigns, which contributes to the growth of Georgian wine exports to the Baltic countries.
