Mr. George Khanishvili, the First Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture got acquainted with the activities of LLC "Igoeti" spices enterprise operating in Kaspi municipality.

Igoeti LLC was established in 2020 during the Covid-19 pandemic. The company produces 18 different types of spices, out of which 12 are condiments. The enterprise has already introduced a hazard analysis and critical control points (HACCP) system. The company products are available in the local market, as well as in supermarket chains.
According to Vazha Iluridze, the company’s commercial director, the company aims to export products in the first half of the year, thus holding negotiations with different countries, including the US, Japan, the Netherlands, and Kazakhstan.

''The spice enterprise was founded with private investment, which is an outstanding example that indicates that the business environment created in the country enables the establishment and expansion of production. In addition, as a result of the active measures taken by the state toward market diversification, entrepreneurs have the opportunity to export their products to practically any country in the world. It should be mentioned that the products produced by "Igoeti" LLC meet international safety standards, both in terms of quality and packaging. Creation of similar enterprises is the result of the policy implemented by the state in the field of the manufacturing of agricultural products", said Mr. George Khanishvili.
