Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture Solomon Pavliashvili meets Anna Chernyshova, Deputy Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Georgia.

Mr. Solomon Pavliashvili expressed his gratitude to Mrs. Anna Chernyshova for effective cooperation in the environmental protection field and briefed on priority issues and measures that will be taken in the waste management sector.

During the meeting, the sides discussed plastic waste prevention-related issues, and deepening cooperation towards raising awareness in the environmental protection area.

According to Mrs. Anna Chernyshova, the United Nations Development Program is ready to fully support the development of the waste management sector in Georgia.
