The Ministry of Environment Protection and Agriculture has been actively involved in the employment program for socially vulnerable persons from the very first day," the Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, Mr. Otar Shamugia said to the journalists after the government session.

"About 4 thousand jobs were selected in the employment program. We have hired people in the Forestry and Protected Areas Agencies, and the headquarters, taking measures to fight against the Asian stink bugs. We are still looking for interested people and providing them with job possibilities.

I would like to inform you that we have cases when persons we hired through the employment program later showed fairly good qualifications, and some of them are still on the staff today. We aim to help people to get more experience, increase their knowledge, and later be hired in higher-paying jobs," said Mr. Otar Shamugia.
