Protected Areas of Georgia will receive the grant in amount of 1, 100 000 EUR

8 protected Areas of Georgia will receive the grant in amount of 1, 100 000 EUR from the Caucasus Nature Fund (CNF). The grant will be allocated within the frameworks of the trilateral grant agreement signed at the Ministry of Environment and Agriculture. The Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, Giorgi Khanishvili, Acting Chairperson of the Agency of Protected Areas, Valerian Mchedlidze and Executive Director of Caucasus Nature Fund George Giacomini signed the agreement. 
Within the framework of the Grant Agreement, trainings are planned to advance the qualifications of the staff of the protected areas. The auto park will be renewed, which is one of the most important components of the technical equipment process of the Georgian probation system.
Executive Director of Caucasus Nature Fund George Giacomini emphasized the importance of financial support for the people who care about nature conservation.
At the meeting, Deputy Minister of Environment Protection and Agriculture Gela Khanishvili stressed the importance of the cooperation with international donor organizations and the support from their side in various directions.
