Levan Davitashvili met with the residents of Akhmeta Municipality

The Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, Levan Davitashvili together with the Governor of Kakheti region, Irakli Kadagishvili held meetings with the residents of the villages Matani, Zemo and Kvemo Alvani and Babanuli in Akhmeta Municipality. At the meeting, government officials provided locals with the information on the planned and ongoing agricultural projects implemented by Georgian Government.

The residents of the villages brought forward arrangement of irrigation system, land registration, agro insurance, infrastructure projects and water supply related problems as basic needs and most important issues facing villages. The representatives of the Government declared, that all aforementioned issues will be taken into consideration when creating budget for the next year.

" We hold meetings with the local residents in all regions of Georgia. Today we gathered to inform locals about our plans and programs and receive information about their needs, which will further help us to consider urgent needs and problems of the population in the planning and budgeting process. The residents of different villages brought forward important issues conserning agricultural, as well as environmental fields. " - Levan Davitashvili said. 

The local residents expressed their interest to the grape harvest related issues and received answers to all questions directly from the Minister.
The  Majoritarian MP of Telavi and Kvareli Municipalities, Irakli Sesiashvili along with the Majoritarian MP Telavi-Akhmeta, Gela Samkharauli, Mayor of Akhmeta Ioseb Karumashvili attended the meeting.

Georgian Government officials will further continue to conduct similar meetings.
