Government Officials run meetings with local residents
 The representatives of the central and local authorities met with the population of the villages of Chanieti, Likhauri and Makvaneti in Ozurgeti municipality. At the meeting, the Head of the Department for Food and Agriculture under the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, Tengiz Kalandadze provided locals with the information on the current, planned and implemented state projects and set focus on the achieved results.
Local residents informed government officials about their needs and problems related to the arrangement of irrigation system, provision of drinking water supply system in the villages of Chanieti and Likhauri, improvement of internal roads in the village Makvaneti and provision of natural gas in Gogieti district. The importance of a rehabilitation of a club in the center of the village and arrangement of outdoor lighting have been also underlined at the meeting.
Local government officials provided detailed information on the current and planned projects that will be implemented in the municipality. Thereby, conversation touched upon municipal and public service delivery related issues.
The Members of the Parliament of Georgia, Giorgi Volski, Temur Chkuaseli and Gia Gachechiladze, Deputy Governor of Guria Region, Ketevan Moistsrapashvili and representatives of local self-government attended the meeting.
