Visit held in Ozurgeti Municipality

The representatives of central, legislative, regional and local authorities are continuing to meet local residents in Ozurgeti Municipality.

The government officials run meetings with local residents of the villages Ozurgeti, Baileti and Nasakirali. The participants were mosttly focused on state and municipal programs and paid a special attention to the infrastructure, health and agricultural projects.

The residents of Ozurgeti village named rehabilitation of water supply system as a priority issue, whereby, community of  Baileti village identified natural gas installation in Baileti village as one of the most important problems facing the residents. The communities of Nasakirali has raised issues of employment and arrangement of internal roads.

As was mentioned, as a result of the information received, the interests and needs of the population will be taken into account.

The MPs George Volsky, Temur Tchkuaseli, Giorgi Gachechiladze, Governor of Guria region, Zurab Nasaraia, Head of the Department of Food and Agriculture under the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, Tengiz Kalandadze, multiparty political union "Georgian Dream - Democratic Georgia" Chairman of  Ozurgeti district office Merab Chanuqvadze,  Chairman of Municipal Council David Darchia and Ozurgeti Mayor Constantine Sharashenidze attended the meeting.

The construction of outpatient clinics is planned this year in the town of Nasakirali and in the village of Baileti; Construction of a public school (for 600 students) is also planned in Nasakirali village. In 2019 project works for installation of natural gas will be carried out in the village of Baileti, and construction works will start in 2020.
