New office of the National Food Agency to open in Abasha Municipality

New, modern standard building is equipped with necessary equipment and technical facilities. The Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture,  Levan Davitashvili together with the Chairman of Agrarian issues Committee, MP of Martvili and Abasha Municipalities, Otar Danelia opened the office. The Minister along with the guests visited specialized technique of the National Food Agency and met with the employees of the office.

“Food safety standards are gradually improving in the country. We are focused on bringing food safety control closer to the European standards and further introduce it in all regions across the country. Therefore, we should employ highly qualified specialists and ensure proper working conditions for them. Moreover, National Food Agency should have necessary infrastructural and technical facilities to improve its performance and be more efficient and productive in different municipalities. The opening of a new office in Abasha municipality  is a good example in this respect”Levan Davitashvili said.

The majoritarian MP of Martvili and Abasha municipalities, Otar Danelia noted, that, from today on, the residents of Abasha municipality will have an opportunity to use office service.

The Head of the National Food Agency, Zurab Chekurashvili, Governor of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti region, Alexander Moserelia as well as local government officials and world's leading entomologists attended the opening of the new office in Abasha Municipality.
