Strengthening Georgia - Kyrgyz Republic Cooperation in the field of agriculture

The Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia, Yuri Nozadze hosted Kyrgyz delegation led by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Azizbek Madmarov. The two sides discussed future  cooperation issues in the field of agriculture. 

Yuri Nozadze presented agricultural development reforms implemented by Georgian government and state programs to support rural and agricultural development in the country, he also  noted, that Georgian side is ready to cooperate with the Republic of Kyrgyzstan in terms of sharing experience and further deepening relations between the two parties.

The sides discussed possible areas for future cooperation, including agricultural co-operation, livestock breeding, beekeeping and viticulture sectors, thereby, in case, if they share common interests, the two parties agreed to further strengthen cooperation in other fields as well.
According to the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, positive dynamics are observed in the development of cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Georgia. Agriculture is one of the leading sectors in the Kyrgyz Republic, thereby, sharing Georgia's successful experience will contribute to the development of agricultural sector in the Kyrgyz Republic.

The participants noted, that communication between the representatives of business circles of two countries to enhance is essential for the development of trade-economic cooperation. The parties agreed to hold an extended meeting in the nearest future. 

The Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, Khatia Tsilosani, representatives of the Ministry of Environment Protection and Agriculture of Georgia and Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic attended the meeting.
