Geogian Government officials paid a visit to Gori Municipality

The First Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia, Giorgi Khanishvili along with the Governor of Shida Kartli region, Giorgi Khojevanishvili held meetings with the residents of Shindisi, Pkhvenisi and Nikozi villages, Gori Municipality.

At the meetings, the participants were focused on the needs and problems faced by the rural population. The residents named priority issues, including the importance of implementing infrastructure, agriculture, health and social care projects in the villages.

The representatives of the government informed locals about the projects planned to be implemented in Gori municipality. The importance of active engagement of residents in the decision-making process was underlined by officials, who also noted, that similar meetings are nessessary to identify problems, as well as to prioritize and select alternatives for a solution. According to the government officials, the needs of the residents will be included in the next year's budget.

The Members of the Georgian Parliament Mikheil Khavelashvili, Endzela Machavariani and Koba Kobaladze, majoritarian MP in Gori,  Ioseb Makrakhidze and representatives of the local self-government attended the meetings with the local residents of Gori municipality.
