Geogian Government officials visited Telavi Municipality

The Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia, Solomon Pavliashvili along with the Governor of Kakheti region, Irakli Kadagishvili met with the local residents of Laliskhuri, Pshaveli and Lechuri villages, Telavi municipality and got acquainted with the needs and problems facing the villages.

The residents named drinking water and irrigation system related problems and arrangement of internal district roads as the main needs in the villages.

The Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia, Solomon Pavliashvili provided locals with the ongoing grape harvest related information and brought forward projects, which support rural and agricultural development in the regions and highlighted achieved results. 

At the meeting, the representatives of local government were focused on the planned and implemented infrastructure projects and promised residents to assist them in dealing with their needs and problems.

Similar meetings allow government officilas to maximally prioritize the needs of the rural community while planning the  state budget for 2020.

The Chairman of the National Wine Agency, Levan Mekhuzla, as well as representatives of local authorities attended the meetings held in the villages of Telavi Municipality.Â
