Nino Tandilashvili participated in the 27th OSCE Economic and Environmental Forum

On September 11-13, the Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia, Nino Tandilashvili participated in the 27th OSCE Economic and Environmental Forum in Prague, Czech Republic.

Under the forum, the Deputy Minister presented a report on the planned and ongoing reforms and specific measures taken in the field of environmental governance and sustainable development in Georgia. Nino Tandilashvili has been focused on the issues related to the development of environmental policy, improvement of the legislative framework, steps taken towards introduction of monitoring mechanisms and highlighted future plans as well.

The Deputy Minister underlined the importance of strengthening of cooperation at the national and international level, as well as measures and initiatives undertaken by the Government to support the implementation of sustainable development goals and objectives in Georgia. 

Within the forum, a final meeting was held, where participants discussed issues on promoting good governance and enhancing communication, promoting economic progress and security in the OSCE member states, strengthening cooperation in the field of energy and modern technologies.
