Meeting with the residents of Ozurgeti Municipality was conducted in an open dialogue mode
The Deputy of the Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, Yuri Nozadze along with the Governor of Guria region, Zurab Nasaraya met with the residents of Ozurgeti municipality.
Georgian Government officials informed locals about planned infrastructure, municipal and agricultural projects and discussed ways how to deal with the existing problems facing the residents.
"These meetings give opportunities to local residents to openly communicate with government officials and discuss issues that need to be addressed first. Information received from the rural population will be taken into account while planning the state budget and developing new projects ”said Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture Yuri Nozadze.
The rural community prioritized arrangement of square, water supply, sewerage system and internal roads as major issues to deal with.
As was mentioned, some of the problems will be solved gradually, elaborated and included in the action plan.
