Government officials continue meetings with the rural residents

The Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia, Yuri Nozadze along with the  State Representative –Governor  to Mtskheta-Mtianeti, Shalva Kereselidze met with the population of the villages Kulavi, Tiniantkari, Aragvispiri, Chinti and Zhinvali , Dusheti Municipality and got acquainted with the needs and challenges facing the villages.

The representatives of the central and local government brought forward problems facing rural communities and discussed the ways of solving existing problems. The locals named the improvement of the internal roads, water supply and gasification as top priority issues facing the villages.
The Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia, Yuri Nozadze outlined the importance of these meetings and noted, that direct communication with the population allows identifying needs and problems of the villages and to further considering them to include in the next year's budget.

The State Representative in Mtskheta-Mtianeti Shalva Kereselidze noted, the problems facing the municipality will be solved gradually.
The representatives of the central and local government were focused on the implemented, ongoing and planned projects in the municipality. It was mentioned, that water supply systems have already been rehabilitated , the kindergarten building has been expanded in Zhinvali and Chinti, rehabilitation works will be completed in Aragvispiri Public School in the nearest future, as well as arrangement of internal roads. The rehabilitation of the central park in Zhinvali and tconstruction of  water facility in Khvavili is planned in the nearest future.

 The Deputy Minister of IDPs from the Occupied Territories Giorgi Tsotskolauri, MPs Giorgi Mosidze, Isco Daseni, Tengiz Khubuluri and Dusheti Municipality Mayor Zurab Sekhsniashvili attended the meeting.

The representatives of the central and local government will hold meetings with the population of other municipalities of Mtskheta-Mtianeti region.
