Government officials continue meetings with the rural residents

The Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia, Solomon Pavliashvili, State Representative-Governor of Shida Kartli Region Giorgi Khojevanishvili, Members of Parliament of Georgia and representatives of local self-government met with the population of Bekami, Tsoskhnara, Bjnisi and Adzvi villages,  Khashuri Municipality.

The main problems and basic needs of rural community were brought forward at the meetings, where participants discussed programs implemented in the fields of infrastructure, agriculture, education, health and social care. The locals prioritized a number of issues facing the villages.
The Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture provided population with the detailed information on the projects implemented by the Ministry.

“ Tangible results are already seen as a result of implementation of state projects. It is important to engage more citizens in the abovementioned projects and help them to get more benefits offered by state. We support farmers to expand their production, create agricultural cooperatives and increase their incomes ”said Solomon Pavliashvili.
It was mentioned, that engagement of citizens in the project planning and decision-making process is of utmost importance.

The representatives of the local government highlighted implemented and planned projects in Khashuri municipality. State Representative of Shida Kartli Region, Giorgi Khojevanishvili noted, that basic needs of the rural community will be included in next year's budget and problems will be gradually solved.

The representatives of central and local government will hold meetings with the population in other villages of the municipality as well.
