Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture participated in the International Investment Forum ‘’ Agrarian Opportunities in Adjara Region’’
Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, Solomon Pavliashvili participated in the International Investment Forum ‘’ Agrarian Opportunities in Adjara Region’’. The event organized by the Ministry of Agriculture of Adjara was held in the hotel "WYNDHAM Batumi".
The event aimed to increase investment potential of the region, boost popularization of local products, promote export, establish new business contacts and increase motivation of employees engaged in the agricultural sector.
The investment forum brought together 20 companies from 10 foreign countries, members of the Cabinet of the Ministers of Ajara, Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce, Entrepreneurs and media representatives.
Foreign companies got acquainted with the quality and increasing opportunities of local products. Furthermore, Georgian locally produced products were presented at the forum, where representatives of different foreign companies expressed interest in importing Georgian products (citrus, tea, honey, fish, wine, etc.) and held meetings with Georgian producers.
