Khatia Tsilosani hosted the Senior Adviser to the President of Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB)
The Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, Khatia Tsilosani met with the Senior Advisor to the President of Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) Konstantin Limitovskiy. The two sides discussed opportunities for future cooperation.
At the meeting, Khatia Tsilosani outlined the priority directions in the fields of environmental protection and agriculture and set focus on the implemented, ongoing and planned activities.
The importance of support provided by international, donor organizations and international financial institutions in the sectoral development process ws underlined by the Deputy Minister.
The possibilities for future cooperation with the Asian Investment Bank (AIIB) in the rehabilitation of amelioration infrastructure, as well as provision of agricultural equipment /machines- was brought forward at the meeting.
Konstantin Limitovskiy noted, that the main purpose of the meeting with the officials of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture was to identify specific directions for future cooperation and get familiar with the current needs and situation in the above mentioned fields.
The representatives of the relevant departments of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, as well as the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank attended the meeting.
