Georgian Wine Festival boosts the popularization of Georgian wine ”- Khatia Tsilosani

Within the frame  of the Georgian Wine Days 2019, Georgian Wine Festival 2019 was held in Sharden street.

The Deputy Minister of Environment and Agriculture Khatia Tsilosani attended the festival.
Wine festival promotes the popularization of Georgian wine. The number of participant companies is annually increasing. The wine companies and small cellars have an opportunity to present their production to tourists and people interested in Georgian wine, provide an information about their produce, sell products and earn an extra money.

This is a good communication tool to increase public awareness on how wine industry is developing in Georgia, receive information on all important events that the government and the private sector are jointly implementing to properly inform the international arena on the success achieved in the winery field ”  said Khatia Tsilosani.

Georgian wine producers, representatives of small and medium wine cellars presented their products to the guests. Apart from exhibition, the festival also included the sale and tasting of Georgian wine. The guests had an opportunity to taste different types of cheese, churchkhela and dried fruits.
Within the frame of the festival a concert and theatrical performances of Georgian folk ensemble were held.
