Levan Davitashvili met with the Director of the Belorussian company ''Gomselmash''

The Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, Levan Davitashvili held a meeting with the Director of the Belarusian company “Gomselmash”, Alexander Novikov. The sides brought forward issues related to the bilateral cooperation and discussed how to further strengthen the cooperation in the field of agriculture, including agricultural mechanization.

At the meeting, Levan Davitashvili expressed his gratitude to the director of the company for productive cooperation. The importance of upgrading agricultural machinery and technique, as well as to increase an access to farm equipment was outlined by the Minister.

It’s worth noting, that Georgian Government purchased 30 units of combine from the company ''Gomselmash'', which was effectively used in the harvesting process.

The Deputy Ministers Yuri Nozadze, Khatia Tsilosani and other relevant officials of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia attended the meeting.
