Levan Davitashvili: "This is an unprecedented example of charity and devotion to our country"
“We should mention, that Tskaltubo has always been Georgia's visiting card. Unfortunately, for over 30 years, we have not been able to revive this resort. Over the years we unsuccsesfully made efforts to develop Tskaltubo by putting private capital / investment, restore and return its past greatness, a name and popularity it had, but we failed. One can name it a corporate social responsibility, although the fact is, that Bidzina Ivanishvili started to revitalize the resort and create new opportunities in the region. This is a charitable act, a part of a large charity and it is not a profitable business. Over the years, we have observed the support provided to different sectors, various regions across the country. Bidzina Ivanishvili made best efforts to facilitate the development of the country. Moreover, if someone expresses an interest to make an investment, Bidzina will willingly sell these objects at an affordable or lower price’’ said the Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, Levan Davitashvili at the meeting with the entrepreneurs and farmers, whereby, he set the main focus on Ivanishvili's new initiative and projects implemented by the Ministry.
