Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia Levan Davitashvili made a statement in response to Bidzina Ivanishvili’s new project, under which, the greenery will be planted on 400 ha from Mtatsminda to Turtle Lake, Tbilisi

“We welcome to another important project. The Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture expresses readiness to fully support this new initiative and within its competence engage qualified specialists in the implementation of the project. Today, in line with the global climate change and global warming, when land is drying up, we recognize the urgent need of creation of green spaces in urban areas and mitigate the dire consequences of climate change. However, with this respect, the new project is gaining even more importance” Levan Davitashvili said.
