Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia, Levan Davitashvili hosted the Ambassador of Qatar to Georgia, HE Mubarak Bin Nasser Al-Khalifa
At the meeting the sides were focused on bilateral relations between Georgia and Qatar and highlighted prospects for the development of future co-operation.
The Minister noted, that Qatar is an important trading partner for Georgia and two countries have huge potential to further deepen their trade and economic relations. The Minister outlined the opportunities of ecotourism and agro tourism development in the country.
Mubarak Bin Nasser Al-Khalifa stated, that existing friendly and close cooperation between the two countries should be further strengthened.
At the meeting, the Ambassador of Qatar personally congratulated Levan Davitashvili on the election of Georgia as the President of the International Olive Council and invited the Minister to the International Environmental and Agricultural Exhibition in Qatar.
