Nino Tandilashvili Participated in the celebration event related to the 40th anniversary of the UN Air Convention

The Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia, Nino Tandilashvili participated in the high-level event dedicated to the 40th anniversary of the Convention on Long-range Transboundary Air Pollution held in Geneva.

In her speech, Nino Tandilashvili brought forward challenges facing by Georgia in relation to the ambient air quality and drew her attention to the progress made in this area.
 The Deputy Minister highlighted planned and ongoing activities undertaken in the field of environmental protection and outlined the importance of  air quality, which might be considered as key issue in the environmental policy development process.

Nino Tandilashvili highlighted activities  undertaken under the Air Convention and outlined the importance of raising awareness on the air pollution related issues at the national as well as international level.
