Under the campaign ''Do-not Cut Trees'', initiated by the Environmental Information and Education Center , the fir tree was embroidered and decorated with lights and ornaments as a part of Christmas in the yard of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia

The Deputies of the Minister and Heads of  the Departments attended the ceremony. The First Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia, Giorgi Khanishvili congratulated the employees of the Ministry and their children on the upcoming Christmas and New Year.

Giorgi Khanishvili outlined the importance of preventing cutting of spruce- fir and pine trees for Christmas and engaging young people in the campaign “Do Not Cut Trees”.
