Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia, Levan Davitashvili held a meeting with the Executive Director of the company ‘’Trece’’, Bill Lingren
The Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia, Levan Davitashvili met with the representatives of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and the Executive Director of the pheromone-based products company Inc. ‘’Trece’’ Bill Lingren.
At the meeting Levan Davitashvili noted, that 2019 was marked by the quantity and quality of hazelnut crop due to measures taken against the Asian Stink Bug. The Minister expressed gratitude to the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) for their active support in the fight against the dangerous pest, as a result of which amazing results have been achieved in the country.
The Deputy Minister Khatia Tsilosani and representatives of the National Food Agency attended the meeting at the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture.
