Activities undertaken by the Ministry under the frame of the ENPARD received a positive evaluation

The Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia, Khatia Tsilosani welcomed the 22nd meeting of the ENPARD Steering Committee on Agriculture and Rural Development.

At the meeting, Khatia Tsilosani outlined the importance of the joint document - Georgia's Agriculture and Rural Development Strategy 2021-2027 and expressed gratitude to the partner organizations for their support.

The participants were focused on the commitments under ENPARD Phases II and III. The Attaché, Agriculture and Food Safety, EU Delegation to Georgia, Georges Dehoux gave an appraisal to the work successfully implemented by the Ministry and discussed the possibility of launching the fourth phase of ENPARD.
The Deputy Minister provided the participants with the information on the National Agency for Sustainable Land Management and Land Use Monitoring, draft laws on geographical indications and aquaculture.

Ketevan Khutsishvili, Programe Officer for Rural Development, Civil Protection and Crisis Management, Delegation of the EU to Georgia, ENPARD Consortium members, representatives of international and donor organizations attended the meeting.
