Levan Davitashvili met with Thai Counterpart in Bangkok

Under the frame of his working visit to Bangkok, the capital of Thailand, the Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia, Levan Davitashvili met with the Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives, Grisada Boonrach. At the meeting, the sides have been focused on the existing potential of cooperation between the two countries. The meeting was held at the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives in Thailand.
Levan Davitashvili brought forward reforms implemented in Georgia and the achievements in the economic sphere and stressed the importance of enhancing bilateral economic relations with Thailand as a leading country in the region.
The Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia to share it’s experience in the environmental field, also issues related to the effective management of forest and water resources to discuss with Thai partners is very important for us -said the Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives of Thailand.
The Thai Minister noted, that he is aware of the high quality of Georgian wine and expressed readiness to support Georgian products in the Kingdom of Thailand.
The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to India, Bangladesh, the Kingdom of Thailand, Archil Dzuliashvili accompanied Levan Davitashvili in Thailand and attended the meeting.
