Levan Davitashvili hosted the Chairman of the Regional State Administration of Kherson, Ukraine
The Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, Levan Davitashvili held a meeting with the Chairman of Regional State Administration of Kherson, Ukraine, Yuri Gusev.Â
At the meeting, the Minister brought forward state agricultural development projects and outlined the importance of fulfilling commitments taken under the EU –Georgia Association Agreement. The sides drew their attention to the issues, regarding development of the wine sector in the country and cooperation in the field of wheat processing industry.
The participants set focus on the food processing technology development issues as well.
Yuri Gusev noted, that Georgian wine occupies a special place on the world stage and asked Georgian side to willingly share their experience in the field of wine industry.
The Advisor to the Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, Omar Kacharava along with the officials of the National Wine Agency attended the meeting.
