Levan Davitashvili opened Georgian Pavilion in Shanghai

New Georgian pavilion was opened by the Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia, Levan Davitashvili  in Shanghai, China, under the frame of the China International Import Expo (CIIE)
Within the cooperation of Georgian Foreign Trade Association (GFTA) and the largest Chinese company (Greenland Holding Group), the above mentioned pavilion was handed over to Georgian side for three years. Georgian agro-food products displayed at the pavilion in China will further increase awareness of Georgia’s culture and maximize its export potential.
" At the International Import Exhibition held in Shanghai, Chinese authorities made an important announcement on launching a new phase of economic relations.
The Chinese government plans to significantly increase the import in the country thus giving opportunities to Georgia and other countries to maximize their export potential.
Accordingly, a platform initiated by the Greenland Holding Group gives many countries favorable circumstances to display their products and attract customers. Georgian pavilion creates an important precondition to increase the export of our products "said Levan Davitashvili at the opening ceremony of Georgian Pavilion. 
According to Zaal Dugladze, General Director of LLC Dugladze Wine Company, the People's Republic of China is one of the most important markets for Georgian wines and we already make plans for increasing the import of Georgian products.
