Meeting was held with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Italy
The Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia, Nino Tandilashvili held a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Italy to Georgia, Antonio Enrico Bartoli.
At the meeting, the sides have been focused on future cooperation and brought forward an environmental protection, water and waste management related issues as well.
Nino Tandilashvili, noted, that the environmental direction is the priority of the country and drew her attention to the obligations undertaken by Georgia within the frame of the Association Agreement signed with the European Union.
On behalf of Italy, the Ambassador promised to support Georgia's European aspirations and expressed his desire for future cooperation.
