Consultation meeting to discuss Rotterdam convention related issues

The Sub-regional consultation meeting was held at the Environmental Information and Education Center to discuss Rotterdam convention related issues.
The Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, Nino Tandilashvili has been focused on the - " Rotterdam Convention on the Prior Informed Consent Procedure for Certain Hazardous Chemicals and Pesticides in International Trade’’.
The Rotterdam Convention envisages promoting the final regulatory decision assessment instrument and other approaches that serve to strengthen the efforts and capacities of the National Responsibilities of the Convention in relation to the hazardous chemical substances in the context of scientifically substantiated final regulatory decisions.
The representatives of the Sub-Regional Countries: Serbia, Armenia, Bulgaria, Russia and World Health Organization (WHO) attended the meeting.
