Levan Davitashvili: “All measures implemented in the country under the state of emergency are targeted at maximizing social distancing and self-isolation and preventing the spread of COVID-19."

All measures implemented in the country under the state of emergency are targeted at maximizing social distancing and self-isolation and preventing the spread of COVID-19.

We should obey and follow all necessary rules. Otherwise, we will harm not only ourselves or our surrounding people, but we will create biggest security problems for the entire country.

I would urge every citizen to obey the rules applied in the state of emergency. At the same time, I thank everyone who has a high sense of public responsibility.

Many influential countries were not able to cope with this disease just because the citizens were not consolidated, the public did not take this disease seriously and did not follow established requirements and recommendations ”said the Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, Levan Davitashvili.

According to the Minister, in case of necessity, additional restrictions will be imposed.

“We consider to take even stricter steps to get the result that will be in everyone's interest. Close contact is a very big threat.  Accordingly, close contacts among population should be restricted to not get the bad results ”Levan Davitashvili said.
