Meeting with the Temporary Charge d'Affaires of the Republic of Latvia

The Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, Solomon Pavliashvili met with the Acting Charge of Affaires of Latvian Embassy in Georgia, Madara Silina. The sides discussed cooperation between Georgia and Latvia.
According to Madara Siliana, Minister of Environment and Natural Resources of Latvia will visit Georgia in late February. 
The modern waste recycling Latvian companies participated in the visit. Representatives of Latvian companies will meet Georgian businessmen and other stakeholders engaged in waste management to make possible investments in waste management.
At the meeting, Solomon Pavliashvili provided Madara Silina with the information on the current situation and challenges in the field of waste management in Georgia. The introduction of modern waste management system in Georgia is one of the top priority of the country.
