Levan Davitashvili: “ I would like to express my gratitude to the Ministry of Economy for being efficient and taking instant actions. Many businesses have been able to produce essential products that were not produced before. ”

"In the current circumstances, many businesses are being reviewed across the world. Our approaches undergo dramatic changes, thereby, it should not be unexpected, if we offer different approaches to our society.

This is an adequate response to these challenges. New challenges we face today are as follows, . the supply chain  suffer disruptions in many countries, which is related to the primary, essential consumer goods, including food products, non-food items, or medical supply. The UN has conducted a study on this issue and we acted immediately.

The Ministry of Economy has taken an immediate action, I would like to express my gratitude to the Ministry of Economy for taking instant actions in relation with the business sector. Many businesses in Georgia have been able to produce essential products that were not produced before, but are crucial in any emergency situation.

Due to its specificity , the agricultural sector will not be able to adapt to changes in a day, but needs a certain period of time. We will support and encourage our producers to produce products for our primary needs "- said the Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture,  Levan Davitashvili.
