Announcement of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia

From April 29, 2020 citizens living in Tbilisi will be allowed to leave the city for agricultural activities from 06:00-08:00 in the morning, and return home from 18:00-19:00 in the evening. For that, they need special permits issued by the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia.

In order to get the  permit, the citizens should fill the application form from the website of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture www.mepa.gov.ge. 12 hours before leaving the city. 

The Ministry announces, that the permit can be delivered in an electronic or material forms.( permit will be issued for single or multiple use)
In case of negative response, the response letter via email is acceptable.

Moreover, in order to receive permits, the residents of Batumi, Rustavi and Kutaisi should apply to the regional headquarters. For more information, the hotline – 144 is activated (dial 2 to connect to the hotline to local services).
