Agricultural markets will gradually start functioning in Imereti region. Today, the market was opened in Vani municipality, the market will be opened in Baghdati next week, moreover, the market is already operating in Samrtedia and meets all relevant standards.

 

"As we are all aware,  according to the decision made by the Government of Georgia, if / when open markets are in compliance with the relevant standards they will start functioning. Markets are being opened, although I would like to note, that in line with the resumption of economic activities, the rules and requirements set by the state should be followed to prevent the further spread of coronavirus in the country "- said Solomon Pavliashvili.

The Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture Solomon Pavliashvili and State Representative in Imereti region, Zviad Shalamberidze visited Baghdati, Vani and Samtredia to get acquainted with the current conditions in the agricultural markets.
