Levan Davitashvili hosted the French Ambassador

The Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, Levan Davitashvili met with the Ambassador of France to Georgia, Pascal Meunier. At the meeting, the sides have been focused on future cooperation between the two countries, thereby, they highlighted mechanization, irrigation and land management related issues as well.
Levan Davitashvili thanked the Ambassador for supporting targeted projects in Georgia and provided guest with the activities and measures taken by Georgian Government within the frame of the consolidated Ministry to facilitate the rapid and effective development of the sector.
As Pascal Meunier stated at the meeting, there is a great potential for agricultural development in Georgia. The Ambassador provided the Minister with the information on livestock exhibitions planned to hold in France and expressed his willingness to support Georgia's participation in the exhibition.
