The Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, Solomon Pavliashvili together with the Chairman of the Agency of Protected Areas, Davit Markozashvili got acquinted with the modern infrastructure constructed in Saturblia cave in Imereti region.
Satsurblia Cave  will be the first recreational cave in the Caucasus region that meets the Interntional standards. Natural healing properties of the cave are studied by Czech and Georgian specialists. Visitors and ambulatory centers were set up in the cave and the lighting system was installed. The cave consist of two passive and active zones. The cave will began to serve its first visitors in the beginning of the tourist season. The project was financed by the Georgian budget with 647 000 GEL.
