‘’We should underline the activities undertaken by the Ministry of Justice in the registration of agricultural land plots. We are taking the right steps, regarding methodology and approach we have developed in recent years. It should be mentioned, that more agricultural land areas were registered in 7 years than in the previous 25 years, since the independence of Georgia has been restored. This process is expected to be completed in 3-4 years. We believe, that farmers will register their land plots during the year and even more farmers will be engaged in the state programs. Land registration is an important part closely correlated to our policy, it implies, that accounting methods are applied consistently, namely, we are implementing the registration of lands as a necessary condition and essential requirement to create the category of professional farmers’’ stated Levan Davitashvili, while presenting the anti-crisis plan for agricultural sector at the session of the Interagency Committee in the Administration of Georgian Government.
