Solomon Pavliashvili discussed transportation / sale of first early potatoes related issues in Marneuli municipality

The Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, Solomon Pavliashvili held a meeting with the representatives of relevant services in Marneuli municipality.At the meeting, the Deputy Minister brought forward logistics issues, regarding transportation / sale of first early potatoes.

This abundance of potatoes is expected to yield this year. According to preliminary forecasts, farmers are expecting 30,000 to 40,000 tons of harvest.  

Solomon Pavliashvili noted, that farmers will not face  problem in selling of their crops.

The Head of the National Food Agency, Zurab Chekurashvili and State Representative in Kvemo Kartli Region, Shota Rekhviashvili  attended the meeting.
