Solomon Pavliashvili visited the potato distribution point in the village Nakhiduri

The Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia, Solomon Pavliashvili along with the Mayor of Bolnisi Municipality, Davit Sherazadishvili visited the potato distribution point in the village Nakhiduri.

 

The distribution center was opened to ensure the safe and uninterrupted export of potatoes amid the novel corona virus pandemic.


 Foreign national truck drivers will take all necessary documents to facilitate the sale of products under the "Single Window" principle at the distribution point. 


" This year, the total yield of  potato is expected to reach 35,000 tons in Bolnisi municipality. Moreover, farmers not to face disruptions, while delivering and selling their crop is very important for us. Considering logistic terms, we decided to open the distribution point in the village Nakhiduri, which is the most convenient and suitable place for surrounding villages, in addition, the vehicles will be loaded with export products at the distribution point. Due to the epidemiological situation, regarding risk of corona virus, it is important to restrict the movement of foreign national truck drivers' at the land plots and gardens. All documents on export products will be issued under the "Single Window" principle. The movement of vehicles will be strictly controlled ”the Deputy Minister said.
