The quadrilateral memorandum signed to promote the sustainable environmental protection

The Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, Nino Tandilashvili, Deputy Mayor of Tbilisi, Maia Bitadze, Founder and Executive Director of  the Caucasus Environmental NGO Network (CENN), Nana Janashia and Marketing Director of the East Point Shopping and Entertainment City, Tea Lominadze signed a memorandum of cooperation to support the sustainable development of the environmental protection in Georgia.


The Memorandum envisages active cooperation between the parties, which will be targeted at raising public awareness on environmental issues, sharing knowledge and experience and increasing environmental responsibility.


Nino Tandilashvili declared, that environmental protection and promotion of green economic development is a top priority in the country, which should be built  through effective cooperation between the public, private and non-governmental sectors.


" Very important cooperation has been signed today, which lays the foundation for effective implementation of environmental policy, whereby, raising public awareness is of utmost importance. I hope, that our joint cooperation will be successful "Nino Tandilashvili said.


It should be mentioned, that the memorandum initiated by the shopping and entertainment city "East Point" allows the customers to use the  free electric charger to charge their vehicles, also to use the electric energy batary storage point and separate the waste in the bins (located in the center) to promote the reasonable and sustainable waste management and environmental protection.
