" Several farms are being established through state support, modernization of existing farms is underway in the country'' declared Levan Davitashvili

The Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, Levan Davitashvili together with the Director of the Agricultural and Rural Development Agency, Ilia Tamarashvili visited one of the largest agro-complexes in Georgia, which is located in the village of Sartichala, Gardabani Municipality.

The complex unites ‘’Agrocomplex’’ LTD, ‘’Sartichala Vineyard Company’’ LTD, ''Dmanisi Livestock'' LTD and several other companies and is a beneficiary of the agricultural development support programs : "Plant the Future", "Preferential Agro Credit" and "Processing and Storing Enterprises Co-financing Project".

" Several farms are being established through state support, modernization of existing farms is underway in the country. "Agrocomplex" is one of the most successful agricultural companies in Georgia, which actually embraces all agricultural directions, including a table grape garden, which is planted on the territory of the complex and creates an opportunity to replace the import "- said Levan Davitashvili.

The agro-complex planted on1200-hectare of land area combines Italian table grapes and intensive apple orchards, including a sown area of maize Maisadour (France), an apple cold storage plant and a cattle breeding farm.

The modern irrigation and anti-hail systems are installed in the gardens planted in the area of agro complex.
ULO technology is introduced in the refrigeration industry to ensure long-term preservation of fruit to further maintain it’s natural color, flesh flavor and nutrient value.

The agro complex embraces seventy locals and one hundred seasonal workers.
