Navenakhevi Cave will serve its first visitors in Spring

The Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, Solomon Pavliashvili together with the Head of the Agency of Protected Areas, Davit Markozashvili got acquinted with the modern tourist infrastructure constructed in Navenakhevi cave. A visitor's center, cafeteria and souvenir shop was constructed. The educational area was also provided and tourist trail was arranged. The cave will serve its first visitors in the beginning of the tourist season.
Navenakhevi Cave is known for its breathtaking and extraordinary stalagmites and stalactites. The cave is 250 metre two-storied building, featuring four halls, was very popular in the 80’s although the cave was later closed for several reasons
Infrastructure project was financed by Georgian Government with 980 000 GEL.
