Certain problems are caused due to quarantine restrictions, which also includes sale of locally produced products. Currently, the production process of timber products is actively carried out in Svaneti region.
The main works are underway in Upper Svaneti, where quarantine regime is in force at present. Accordingly, this process will be further organized. There is a special group, that registers each vehicle entering or loading with timber resources and leaving the region.
Moreover, all contractors of the National Forestry Agency of the Ministry will work to ensure, that, as this season is very short and depends on the weather, timber manufacturing production process will be carried out without any delay in the region ”said Levan Davitashvili.
