Minister Davitashvili: “unity of the Georgian Hazelnut Growers Association is a success story for any other agricultural sector”

With yet another demonstration in Kakheti, I appeal to journalists with a humble favor to personally approach farmers and inquire at what cost does farmers’ harvest constitute. My personal desire is to increase sales of any production, in addition to grapes. Measurement of our success comes in parallel to an increased income of farmers. Delivering high-quality production and fighting stink bug has resulted from tremendous efforts of hazelnut farmers, which has brimmed us with pride.
Benchmarking the hazelnut harvest of 2020 has proven to be one of the major ones. As we keep our hopes high for the future, we remain confident that high-quality production complements a price and income.
