Minister Davitashvili: The “Cartu Foundation” is our esteemed partner and supporter in good deeds

Presentation of recovery-revival of an urban forest landscape, enjoyed presence of Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia, Mr Levan Davitashvili. At the Mtatsminda Park, and upon addressing other attendees, Minister Davitashvili stressed out importance of the project in making significant improvement toward ecological environment of the city; as it has been tailored in compliance with the state environmental policy on air quality improvement. 

 

“As a multi-dimensional initiative, the project will essentially transform, improve and advance urban space. We aspire to ensure ecotourist infrastructure, that will encourage population to live an active life in leisure. The project on recovery-revival of an urban forest landscape is a tangible product of swift coordination between various state structures. The initiative would not be possible without unprecedented investment from the Cartu Foundation and Mr Bidzina Ivanishvili, respectively. The project shall commence in few years. The Cartu Foundation is our esteemed partner and supporter in good deeds, not limited to enhancement of general infrastructure, protecting cultural heritage, as well as safeguarding biodiversity. Georgia’s protected territories entail wide range of ecotourist infrastructure supported by the Cartu Foundation” – Minister Davitashvili stated.
